RECENT EVENTS
Exeter IVC members have organised quite a few activities
during September and October.
Here are some of our recent ones.......
The first Wednesday nights of September and October were spent in the City Gate by the Iron Bridge - our usual - "first of the month" venue. We also visited numerous other pubs around Exeter during this eight-week period. Some of our previous guests who visited us have now joined the Club and some others have just applied. So if you are interested, please come along and check us out.
We also participated in a range of activities including:
A guided historical tour of Broadclyst with the local history society; Dinner and lunch events at Bickleigh Mill, the Ley Arms, Dinner at Herbies, a Pizza at ASK, and all you could eat at a curry banquet in Real India. We also had an enjoyable Sunday lunch at Exminster Golf Club.
We went for coffee and ice-creams at the Orange Elephant one Saturday, and over indulged! We even had a complaint from an elderly lady who asked us to keep the noise down! And we all felt suitably chastised.
We saw The Duchess at the Picture House; went biking at the Quay; and practised our Archery at the Ashcombe Activity centre.
Engaging in a bit of "Culcha" we went to see Oliver at Torquay; and the King and I at the Northcott.
Our 'Spooks n Broomsticks' guided tour around Exeter by the Redcoats on Haloween was excellent and a good laugh.
We also had our "Cup" match with Plymouth Club when we entertained them at Exeter over a week-end with a Pub style quiz. Sadly we lost the match and the Cup, still, it was a lot of fun and there is always next year.
and here's some photo's of the FUN we've had.......
All of these events were enjoyed by members of Exeter IVC
and you can take part too.
Just contact us, and we will make you very welcome.
