Weds. 5th: FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH at THE CITY GATE with Karenza-Monica.

Weds. 12th: Join Ralph at THE HALF MOON at Clyst St. Mary.

Weds. 19th: Meet up with Andrew at THE BARN OWL Honiton Road.

Weds. 26th: Joy is our host at THE COUNTESS WEAR Topsham Road.

NOVEMBER EVENTS

Monday 3rd: Come to our FILM EVENING with Andrew at the EXETER PICTURE HOUSE to see THE QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Starring Daniel Craig. The film starts at 6.30pm. So be in the bar upstairs at 6.15pm. Afterwards, if we are hungry, we can have a meal out in town. Buy your ticket on the night.

Or, if you prefer something more intellectual.......join Robin at the Exmouth Arms Exmouth at 7pm. Then go over to the GLEN ORCHY CHURCH HALL to hear a lecture on THE HISTORY OF THE BLACKSHIRTS IN DEVON by Historian Dr. Todd Gray at 7.30pm.

Friday 7th: Join Dave T at THE CORN EXCHANGE at 7pm to see THE COMEDY CLUB. Tickets are £10 payable at the door. Contact us soon to arrange a meeting point.

Saturday 15th: Dance your feet off at the CEILIDH at BOWHILL SCHOOL BUDDLE LANE where Adrian is hosting this event for us at 8pm. Buy your ticket for £8 on the night.

Friday 21st: Join Anne at 10am. for a picturesque 4/5 mile walk from Stoke Canon. Lunch at the LAST TOAD (formerly the Agricultural Inn) BRAMFORD SPEKE. Contact us for details soon.

Sunday 23rd: Sue J is leading an excursion to KNIGHTSHAYES COURT Tiverton for a CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR. Meet by arrangement at 11am.

Monday 24th: Visit COTEHELE HOUSE, near SALTASH with Maggie for a viewing of the traditional CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Meet 10am. Contact us to arrange car share and meeting place.

Sunday 30th: Go up the Wall in South Molton with Adrian for AN INDOOR CLIMBING EXPERIENCE. Contact us and arrange to meet up and car-share.

Weds. 3th: PROSPECTIVE MEMBER NIGHT with David T at the CITY GATE Let us know you want to come and bring a friend along.

Weds. 10th: THE BLACK HORSE HONITON ROAD with Louise. Meet us at the bar.

Weds. 17th: Ralph is the host tonight at THE NEW INN ALPHINGTON.

There will not be any bar nights on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.

Sunday 7th: Meet up with Joy to listen to the EXETER POLICE & COMMUNITY CHOIR perform at St Peter’s School, Exeter. The charities being supported are: The Chestnut Appeal and Exmouth Lifeboat Station. Tickets £6. Book your ticket with us by 20th November if you want to attend.

Tuesday 16th: If you prefer your music outdoors join Maggie for CANDLELIT CAROLS IN HALDON FOREST For an atmospheric experience. You need to be quick as tickets are limited. £4 per car, sharing to be arranged, so contact us ASAP.

Saturday 27th: Join Hilary for our last event of the year at the Northcott to see the pantomime SLEEPING BEAUTY. TICKETS ARE SELLING QUICKLY so contact us soon to see if there are any left.

Thursday 22nd: A trip to the Northcott Theatre, Exeter with Louise to see “The Bible – Complete word of God (abridged), a satirical comedy. We need to know by 19th December if you want to join us.

Non-members will be most welcome to join us at any of the activities listed above,

but please let us know in advance.
